Hi, I’m Kelli

I’m a qualified Naturopath and Clinical Nutritionist with a passion for making people’s lives a whole lot healthier and happier using a holistic and natural approach that is grounded in the latest scientific evidence.

Having experienced the distress and frustration of chronic health issues personally, I was inspired to help others on their journey to health by providing effective, individualised treatment within a compassionate and respectful environment.

My approach to treatment involves identifying and treating the cause of ill health, not just the symptoms and providing the body with what it needs to restore balance and promote healing. I take a person-centred approach, recognising you as an individual with unique needs and aim to educate and empower you to know your body better and build healthier habits for your body, mind and soul.

How can I help you?

DIGESTIVE COMPLAINTS & food sensitivities

Are you experiencing digestive complaints such as bloating, sluggish bowels, loose stools and indigestion and putting up with it because it has become ‘normal’ for you? These types of symptoms are a sign of an unhappy gut.

Imbalances in the healthy intestinal bacteria, poor diet, gut and liver toxicity or digestive inflammation can all be contributing factors. Food sensitivities can also contribute to digestive symptoms often in conjunction with non-digestive symptoms such as muscle aches, fatigue and nasal congestion, to name a few. People diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and inflammatory Bowel Disease also respond well to Naturopathic and Nutritional treatment.

Fatigue, Stress & anxiety

Stress has a significant and potentially destructive impact on our bodies if we have enough of it over a long period of time. Stress can cause changes in sugar balance, reproductive health, digestion, mood and energy production. Protecting against the long-term effects of stress is important in keeping you feeling full of life.

Fatigue, anxiety and low mood are very common problems in today’s society. There are many causes besides stress including nutritional deficiencies,  hormone imbalances and thyroid problems to name a few. Addressing underlying imbalances can make a significant difference to your life!

me/cfs & fibromyalgia

I won’t pretend to have any miracle cures, but I am passionate about the power of nutrition and naturopathic medicine to improve the quality of life for many suffering ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia and other invisible illnesses. This is an area close to my heart and I am commited to journeying with you and supporting you with the tools I have in my toolkit.

Womens & childrens health

Promoting wellbeing is important at all stages of development which is why I support women from preconception care, healthy pregnancy and lactation right through to menopause. I also see children of all ages for a range of issues including fussy eating, eczema, digestive complaints, nutritional deficiencies and more.

Conditions such as PMS, Endometriosis, low libido and PCOS are becoming all too common. Nutrition and Naturopathic medicine can assist with bringing balance to a women’s body by addressing things like stress, inflammation, toxicity, nutritional deficiencies and excess weight to improve symptoms.

cardiovascular & metabolic health

Cardiovascular disease is still the number one cause of death in Australia today. There are a number of areas where nutrition and herbal medicine can help to address the associated risk factors including assisting with healthy blood pressure, reducing blood cholesterol levels and decreasing inflammation which has been associated with hardening of the arteries. Lifestyle aspects such as exercise and stress management are also important in lowering your risk and promoting heart health.

skin health

We often think of skin disorders as being a purely topical issue however, did you know that many are related to immune dysfunction, poor detoxification and are often made worse by stress, food sensitivities and other lifestyle factors. There are also many natural ways to help soothe the symptoms of of unhappy skin.

immune health

Autoimmune conditions and allergies can severely diminish the quality of life of the sufferer. Nutritional and herbal support can be extremely useful in assisting with the management of symptoms while helping to balance the immune response. Both autoimmunity and allergies have been linked with disrupted gut function which are areas that Natural therapies are particularly effective at addressing.

weight loss

Maintaining a healthy weight is an important part of preventative medicine with obesity being at epidemic proportions and the rate of diet and lifestyle diseases continuing to rise. It is important when doing any weight loss program to make sure you are loosing fat and not muscle and the BIA body Composition analysis can monitor your weight loss achievements and make sure your body composition remains healthy.

When working with weight loss clients I can help to ensure any dietary changes don’t compromise your nutritional needs. When weight loss is difficult to achieve, I can help you to determine and address problem areas to help you reach your goals. I’ll also assist you to transition from the initial stages of a weight loss program to something that can be easily maintained as a lifestyle to ensure you maintain your successful results!

general health & Disease prevention

Did you know that a Naturopath and Nutritionist can be consulted for a general health check and diet and lifestyle advice to help you age well and prevent disease?

In Australia the majority of the top leading causes of death and morbity are lifestyle diseases such as Heart Disease, Stroke, Type 2 Diabetes and some cancers. These are potentially preventable conditions. Invest in your health now to ensure you get the best out of your later years!

I’d love to hear from you!
